This beautiful historic gem is encircled by a halo of eight additional old mine-cut diamonds, bringing the total estimated diamond weight to an impressive 1.30 carats.
This characterful ring has undergone sympathetic repair work to ensure all nine hand-cut diamonds are tightly and safely secured in their settings for future wear. On close inspection, some of the historic claws and the base of the gallery setting show irregularities from these past restorations. The band has thinned slightly over time due to a lifetime of love and previous re-sizing. Overall, it remains an incredibly bright, lively, and romantic piece featuring old diamonds of excellent clarity.
