Jean Alexandra was created out of a love for the beauty and craftsmanship of Fine Jewellery and the realisation that it is difficult for the consumer to find pre-loved Antique, Vintage or Modern rings at fair prices; they usually carry a large markup. The individuality of Antique hand-cut gemstones, the delicate metalwork of the Edwardian era, the ability to find an amazing high-impact, bespoke- style modern ring at an attainable price. We want to share that joy with our clients, without jewellers’ shop price tags. I, Jean, spend every day of the week following the pre-loved Fine Jewellery market to find amazing pieces at the correct price-point.

We specialise in fine jewellery, carefully chosen, be it antique, vintage or pre-loved modern. Each piece is selected for its character, craftsmanship and presence. We look for the details that matter. The cut of a stone. The way a ring sits on the hand. These are not trend pieces. They were made properly. They were worn, treasured, and kept. Each piece will display a level of wear commensurate with its age and we endeavour to convey the condition of each piece accurately. Each piece is sourced considerately. I myself am in the process of studying Gemology, a very technical science, that most jewellers are not even qualified in. We also work with consultant FGA Gemologists and skilled goldsmiths to ensure authenticity and that any required maintenance work is carried out before pieces drop in our shop.
