Generally, most rings apart from full Eternity rings can be resized up to two sizes up or down, and in some cases more sizes. If you are unsure, just drop us a message with your ring size and the ring that you are interested in.

We can resize the ring for you for free but please allow up to three weeks for this service.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on rings that have been resized. Therefore, you may prefer to receive the ring in its current size , ensure you like it and then take it to a local jeweller for re-sizing.

Yes! If you are not entirely happy with your ring, you can return it to us. Just get in touch within 14 days of delivery and we will give you the next steps for return. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of rings that have been re-sized or altered in any way.

Hallmarking was not mandatory in the Uk until 1973. Therefore, many Antique and Vintage rings are unhallmaked.

Under UK law, items that are not hallmarked are not allowed to be described as gold, silver, platinum or palladium, regardless of whether they are actually made of that material.

No, the vintage boxes that you may see on our social media and website are photographer’s props only. Your ring will arrive in a brand new box and sleeve.

If you are very keen for an Antique /Vintage box to go with your Antique/Vintage ring, do get in touch and we can share options and prices for boxes that will suit your ring.

Antique is anything over 100 years old. Vintage is anything between 20 and 100 years old and Modern was made in the last 20 years.

It is often not possible to exactly date a ring. We are very careful not to call a ring Antique unless we are very certain that it is over 100 years old.

Do remember that our modern rings are pre-loved unless otherwise stated.

Yes! Our rings have or will, be around for decades, they are just passing through Jean Alexandra on their journey. Therefore we don’t brand our ring boxes as it should be all about the ring. The outer mailer boxes are unbranded as well to ensure surprises stay that way.
